I was recently away from home with a potentially very poorly 14 year old terrier. Rang and received an excellent service. Prompt, caring and professional. Following an agreed scan, Dingo was found to be in generally brilliant health for an old dog. My mind was at rest, he had meds for an infection and soon bounced back to normal. Couldn’t have received a better service and had I been more local would have been tempted to move practices. Well done to the whole team.

I traveled 50 minutes to come to this Vet after speaking to the owner who was manning the phone- amazing. He explained the pet plan he had put together and why. Breath of fresh air! People and pet focused, they really care. Everyone was very patient with my 2 naughty puppies. I got everything I needed and the Vet spent lots of time with me and answered all my questions. It is a very special place, with a very special staff. I know my pups are in good hands. Highly recommended.

Wanted a second opinion on a complex medical problem for Skittles our terrier. Phil and all the team were all absolutely lovely with her and very gentle as she gets very anxious at a vet usually and she was much less stressed. Philip Simon is a highly experienced small animal veterinary surgeon dedicated to providing exceptional care to pets and their families. Philip is recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) as an Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery. With over 15 years in the veterinary field, Philip combines his extensive knowledge with a personable approach, ensuring that every visit is both informative and comforting for pet owners and their beloved animals.

I am so excited to be back in Knaresborough providing veterinary services to the pets of Yorkshire. Over the years I have worked all over the world but its great to be settled with my family back in my home county.
As an RCVS Advanced Practitioner I hold a postgraduate certificate in Small Animal Surgery and perform routine and advanced surgery allowing us to keep more complicated orthopaedic and soft tissue cases under our care.

Lottie's worked in veterinary practices since leaving school and has not looked backed since. With over 34 years experience She’s a qualified VCA and whilst in that role she qualified as a SQP ( suitably qualified person) which enables her to prescribe all medication for your pet except POM-V (prescription only medicine - veterinarian)
Her passion recently has been in Laser Therapy which is great for the practice! She has 6 cats, 2 dogs and a horse along with 2 children who she spends lots of family time with and loves a day at the great Yorkshire show with her daughter and horse called poppy! If she is not busy with her animals and children you will find her at the gym or meeting friends!
